The growth of Auto Excellence is much more than dates and numbers. It’s about our people and our values.

In December 2002, Anton and Roelien Geyser established Auto Excellence with four cars, two employees, and one dream. We loved our Land Rover Defender adventures and wanted to share that passion with others.

More than twenty years later, Auto Excellence is a leader in Africa in the selling, buying, servicing, and refurbishing of Land Rover Defenders and premium four-wheel-drive vehicles. We have two workshops, a full diff and gearbox workshop, and almost 50 employees at our two branches.

In 2016, we took a leap of faith and opened Heritage Auto Excellence in Stellenbosch. Spearheading the branch is Louis Venter, who is passionate about our brand and has been at the forefront of establishing our reputation for outstanding service in the Western Cape.

In 2023, Gehard Moolman joined our Centurion branch. With more than twenty years of experience with Land Rover and Jaguar, Gerhard’s expertise will help us expand as we introduce newer models to Auto Excellence.

If you were to ask us about the secret to our success, it’s because we focus on honesty and exceptional service to our customers, as well as the development and personal growth of our employees. We have always re-invested every cent back into Auto Excellence.

This has ensured that we’ve been able to better the lives of our employees and stay ahead with the equipment and technology we need to provide the best possible service to our customers.

Every single member of the Auto Excellence team knows that the vehicles we service and sell aren’t just a way to get from A to B; they’re a way of life. Most of our people have worked with us for more than ten years, and a couple have been part of the Auto Excellence family since the beginning. That’s why, when you bring your Land Rover to us, you can be confident that we will take the best care of it.

It’s been over twenty years since that dream became a reality, but we’re still as excited about adventures in our Landy as the day we started. We look forward to sharing that passion with you.
